Now in its third year, the World’s Top Fintech Companies list is compiled by CNBC and Statista, a leading global provider of industry rankings and market intelligence. The 2025 edition evaluated over 2,000 fintech companies across eight categories, including alternative financing, neobanking, payments, digital assets, insurtech, financial planning, wealth technology, and financial infrastructure.
The final 300 companies were selected based on key performance indicators including revenue growth, user metrics, funding history, product innovation, and public visibility. The assessment incorporated both publicly available data and voluntary submissions from over 100 companies.
