Akulaku Participates in MUFG Fintech Festival, Sharing Insights on AI-Driven Credit Monitoring

Akulaku was honored to participate in the third MUFG Fintech Festival (MFF), following a kind invitation from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG). The event brought together around 200 leaders and delegates from MUFG’s partners and affiliates within the Openly-Connected Digital Ecosystem (MODE), creating a valuable platform for dialogue on emerging technologies shaping the future of digital finance.

During the festival, Akulaku’s Chief Technology Officer, Gordon Hu, joined a panel discussion focused on credit monitoring strategies and insights from digital lenders. In the session, Gordon shared how Akulaku leverages AI-driven credit assessment, data intelligence, and responsible lending frameworks to enhance credit accessibility for underserved populations across Southeast Asia.

The discussion also highlighted the growing importance of technology architecture, data governance, and risk management in building a more resilient and inclusive digital financial ecosystem. Panelists exchanged perspectives on how fintech players and financial institutions can collaborate to balance innovation with prudence, while maintaining trust and long-term sustainability.

Akulaku extends its sincere appreciation to MUFG for hosting the MUFG Fintech Festival and fostering open collaboration among fintech innovators, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners. We look forward to continuing our shared journey with MUFG and the MODE community toward a more inclusive, connected, and future-ready digital financial ecosystem.
